F.R.I.E.N.D.S one of the oldest sitcoms, earned their title as "birth-giver" of the next generation's American sitcom. The series showcases friendships of six friends, living in New York, transitioning from their mid-20s to their 30s, going through changes, and every aspect of life can present to a person. Every character carried a unique nature within themselves, however, being so different from each other all of them seemed like eggs in one basket. From millennials to gen-z, every generation laughed along with 'their' F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S gives us the feeling of the early 2000s, when there was barely any social media and the concept of WWW just came. Even having busy work schedules, and ups and downs in their personal life, what remained constant here was Central Perk, their brown sofa, and Gunther's evergreen crush on Rachel.
Character Overview: To summarize, Monica, is known as the clean freak of the group, and is a head chef in one of the famous restaurants in New York, however, she may come off as high-maintenance and excited when she's passionate about something.
Ross, the second character and elder brother of Monica, is a paleontologist who has an obsession with dinosaurs, and may I say Rachel too? (for that, you need to watch the series). He is one of the smartest friends, who can help his friends fall asleep with his lectures.
Joey, the woman magnet and an actor, is the kindest friend, everyone deserves, there's no person who hates Joey. At the same time, no woman can resist Joey's "How you doin'?". The Italian of the group, who never shares his food.
Chandler, Joey's best friend, is the jokester of the group, who never backs down from an opportunity of cracking jokes. He even said "I make jokes when I am uncomfortable", making people who tend to be humorous relate with him the most. He believes, that making jokes, is HIS thing, and that's true.
Phoebe, the weird friend, is one of the sassy people with very unique approach towards life, which made some laugh and some questioning certain things. She and her 'smelly cat' will always be in our Billboard's #1. Raised in the streets, she is a freelance masseuse and believes in living an honest life.
Rachel, the fashion girl of the group, went from being a spoiled brat to working as a waitress to working in one of the leading fashion industries in New York. She showed what empowered a woman can do on their own if they follow their dream.
